Victoria studied Hispanic Literature and has a Master’s in Translation studies. Before getting into audio, she worked as a freelance translator and in academia. In 2016, she co-founded Máquina de Coser, an art project focused on sound experimentation. In 2020 and in 2022, she was an International Women’s Media Foundation fellow, reporting in the Guatemala/Mexico border and in Brazil. In 2022, she received the National Journalism Award in Mexico for her piece “El sabor de las palabras.”

Victoria was an editor at Radio Ambulante, NPR’s award winning Spanish language podcast, and now works as a producer at Latino USA. Since 2023, she helps organize the bi-weekly in-person listening club La escuchadera.
